December 24, 2006: I bought this book at a bargain at Barnes and Nobles. It is absolutely the best vegetarian cookbook! I love that all the recipes have pictures. That is important to me. I can't stand a recipe book with no pictures but this has it all and the taste of the recipes is outstanding!!

March 30, 2006: I've been a vegetarian for a few years now, however when I got this book, it was only about six months. It really helped me by expanding my knowledge on vegetarian cooking. It has detailed photos of simply any and all meals as well as one of the first sections, 'the vegetarian Pantry' which has what seems to be hundreds of different ingredients, necessary for a healthy lifestyle... anything from commonly-known items such as soymilk, tofu and most 'salad vegetables' to not-so-everyday items like Nori, Agar, Setan, and Kamut as well as an encyclopedia of several herbs, pastas, spices, teas, and much, much more... not to mention the recipies and the table of alternative nutrient sources. (vitamins, etc.) I own several veggie cookbooks and this is the real deal. It is the best I've ever owned.
